1) General

This website is operated by Aurora Healing Ltd (referred to as "Aurora Healing").By using this website you acknowledge that you do so subject to our terms and conditions. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time. Any such change will take effect when posted to this website, with the date of the new terms and conditions being displayed at the top of the page. It is your responsibility to read our terms and conditions on each occasion that you visit this website.

2. Company information

Aurora Healing Ltd’s director and company secretary is Kerin Webb. Full details can be found at www.multimodaltherapy.org . Aurora Healing Ltd is registered in England and Wales. Our company number is: 4659638.  

3. Psychotherapy and psychic / mediumship readings

a) Psychotherapy sessions and / or psychic / mediumship readings (for the purposes of these terms, called 'consultations') are provided by Kerin Webb, possibly with the assistance of one or more trained practitioner(s), which can include Asha Webb.

b) Subject to Section 6(a) below: No guarantees are offered or implied regarding the outcome and / or results of the service(s) provided.

c) Subject to Section 6(a) below: No information given in a consultation should be taken to mean that you are being advised to act or not act in any specific way by Aurora Healing Ltd, or by any of its employees or representatives.

d) Please note: the survival of the soul and the possibility of spirit communication form a part of our religious beliefs.

e) Subject to Section 6(a) below: No guarantees are offered or implied regarding the accuracy, usefulness or otherwise of any information provided in a personal consultation.

f) All psychotherapy and/or psychic/mediumship reading consultation services are only provided to people over 18 years of age.  

g) Psychic/mediumship reading consultations should be considered to be for entertainment and informational purposes only and of an experimental nature.

(h) Psyhotherapy sessions and / or psychic mediumship reading consultations are provided (1) in person, (2) by phone, (3) online through the Skype internet communication service and / or (4) via Zoom. In the case of in person appointments, once you apply for your consultation we will provide you with details of the location where the service will take place, where you can pay cash for your service, at the time of your appointment. To receive your service in the UK remotely you must either provide Aurora Healing Ltd with a UK phone number by which you can be contacted, or you will need to provide your own access to Skype, or, where applicable, to Zoom. We will not be liable for any costs incurred by you when using Skype or Zoom (at the time of writing 28/03/2023 these services are advertised as free). All consultations to international callers outside of the UK are made via Skype. (Remote consultations are paid for in advance, by credit/debit card, or PayPal.)

(i) By applying for a personal consultation you confirm that you do not have a criminal record.

(j) By applying for a personal consultation you confirm that you do not have reason to suspect that you currently have or may have depression / clinical depression and / or other psychological illness that is not currently being treated by an appropriate medical professional (such as your doctor or a psychiatrist). You confirm that if you do have depression / clinical depression and / or any other psychological illness you will seek the advice of your doctor and only use Aurora Healing Ltd's services with the informed consent and guidance of your doctor. You affirm that if you have depression / clinical depression and / or any other psychological illness you will fully inform Aurora Healing Ltd of the nature of your illness when seeking treatment and of the fact that you have notified your doctor that you are seeking services with Aurora Healing Ltd (and if required you agree to provide evidence to Aurora Healing Ltd of your doctor’s awareness of the situation). **Do not buy a psychic psychic/mediumship reading when you feel vulnerable, or when your finances are not sound.**

(k) By applying for a personal consultation service, since no guarantees are offered or implied, you acknowledge that you will be required to pay for our time, which is charged at the full advertised rate for the service requested.

(l) By applying for a personal consultation you understand that if you start your call late, the service will still be charged from the agreed start time and that as a result of your lateness the service provided will be of a shorter duration than advertised, concluding at the agreed finish time. Similarly, if you fail to answer the phone for your consultation, or if you fail to connect on Skype or Zoom at the appointed time without giving 48 hours prior warning- you will still be charged for the missed appointment because we have provided you with the allocated time in our work schedule and you have not be given us reasonable opportunity to reschedule our time. 

(m) If you pay for a personal consultation but then fail to respond to our written messages offering you one or more appointment times for a period longer than two weeks we will retain the payment and no refund will be offered. If you do respond, but fail to agree to any reasonable appointment times offered between 9.30AM and 5.30PM UK time, Monday to Friday, for a period longer than one month, we will retain payment and no refund will be offered.

(n) If you pay for a personal consultation but then request a refund before the agreed appointment takes place a refund will be made, less a £30.00 administration fee.
(o) One rescheduling per paid for consultation service is allowed. More than one rescheduling request per original appointment will result in your appointment being forfeit and no refund will be given.
(p) Appointments are non-transferable. This means that the person who pays for the service must be the person who receives the service.
(q) A 5-minute money back guarantee is offered. This means that you can ask to end your consultation for a refund within the first 5 minutes with a full refund. After the five-minute period has elapsed no refund will be provided.

(r) If you select a lower priced service at the checkout and then seek a higher value service at the time of your appointment, you will need to pay the outstanding difference in price to match the service you require, before your appointment continues.

(s) We do not tolerate rude, abusive or threatening behaviour. Any such behaviour will result in a ban of services and where payment has already been made the termination of your appointment, with no refund.

(t) If we have declined to provide psychotherapy and/or psychic reading consultation services to you and you continue to pay for a service, your money will be refunded, less an administration fee of £30.00.

(u) We reserve the right not to provide explanations or reasons for declined readings and consultations.
 

4. Courses, Public Demonstrations and Workshops

(a) Enrolment on Courses, Public Demonstrations and Workshops. 

(i) You must be over 18 to apply for a course, public demonstration or workshop.  

(ii) Making a payment to enroll upon a course, a public demonstration and talk, or a workshop with Aurora Healing Ltd is deemed to be an offer to purchase. Aurora Healing Ltd may accept or decline your offer. We will inform you if your offer to purchase has been declined.

(iii) You confirm that you do not have a criminal record.

(iv) You confirm that you do not have reason to suspect that you currently have or may have depression/ clinical depression and / or other psychological illness.

(b) Conduct of courses, public demonstrations and workshops.

(i) Aurora Healing Ltd reserves the right to substitute the advertised trainers and include additional trainers and special guest trainers at any time.

(ii) Aurora Healing Ltd reserves its right from time to time to vary in its absolute discretion the content and the material covered to that advertised, whilst ensuring that such content and materials will correspond with the overall requirements as advertised.

(iii) Aurora Healing Ltd reserves the right to deny, at their absolute discretion, without any prior notification and any reason being given, access to any individual or group of individuals, for the welfare of participants and organisers, and for the purpose of ensuring that the programme runs smoothly, safely and in a manner which reflects the nature of the training or public demonstration, for all or part of the programme.

(iv) If the need to deny you access arises you agree that you will only be refunded on a pro rata basis, less a deposit, for training not received, but you will be charged for the training you have received.

(v) Qualification (where applicable) is awarded upon successful completion of the course / workshop.

(vi) Information provided in our courses, talks and workshops may include theory, technique, personal experience, historical and anecdotal details, as well as broad principles. However, subject to Section 6(a) below: No information given in any training programme should be taken to mean that you are being advised to act or not act in any specific way by Aurora Healing Ltd, or by any of its employees or those who may from time to time assist Aurora Healing in such matters (for example, guest trainers, etc). We expect you to assume responsibility for your actions and decisions both during and beyond any programme(s) you attend with us.

(5)Payment For Services (which includes courses, personal consultations, public demonstrations and workshops).

(a) We accept cash for public events and face to face personal consultations and credit card, debit card and PayPal transactions for all service payments. (For security reasons please DO NOT post cash payments to us.) If you choose to pay by cash you can pay in person when you arrive at the designated venue. If you choose to pay by credit/debit card using PayPal we will take payment from your card when we receive your order, once we have checked your card details. If you choose to pay by PayPal we will take payment from your PayPal account when we receive your order, once we have checked your account details. In the event that we are unable to supply the service, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and a full refund will be given where you have already paid for the service.

(i) The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exception - whilst every effort is made to ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. We will inform you as soon as possible, if we discover an error in the price of services you have ordered. In such a case, you will be given the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and you have already paid for the services, you will receive a full refund.

(ii) Payment can be made by any method specified for all services, including by credit card, or debit card or by using PayPal's own payment transfer method, or by cash (but cash can only be used for face to face services). For information about the security of this website, please see the Privacy Policy.

(iii) All prices include VAT (where relevant) at the applicable current rates.

(iv) Submitting a payment to Aurora Healing Ltd is deemed to be an offer to purchase. Aurora Healing Ltd may accept or decline your offer. We will inform you if your offer to purchase has been declined.

(v) Following the completion of your online payment, we will send you an order acknowledgement email (via PayPal) detailing the services you have ordered. Please note that this email is not an order confirmation or order acceptance.

(vi) Acceptance of your order and the completion of the formation of a contract between you and Aurora Healing Ltd will take place on dispatch to you of the order confirmation, unless Aurora Healing Ltd have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order prior to such confirmation. (If we do not accept your order, where payment has already been made by you, we will refund you.)

(vii) When your online order is accepted we will send you an email confirming this and - where applicable – we will offer you an appointment option (unless you have self-selected using our online calendar, in which case you will be notified using an automated response). Where appointments are concerned you must reply by email to confirm your ability to receive an appointment at the time offered. Where courses, public demonstrations and workshops are concerned you must reply by email to confirm your acceptance of a space on the event designated. We will make every reasonable effort to provide the service at the agreed time. In the event that we are unable to supply the service, we will inform you of this as soon as possible and we will offer you the option of an alternative date or a full refund, where you have already paid for the service. If the alternative option we offer is not suitable for you we will seek to arrange an alternative appointment with you, however, where this is not possible we will provide you with a full refund, where you have already paid for the service. Please note: subject to Section 6(a), below: we reserve the right not to provide a service or to stop a service at any point in the process without any reason needing to be given. If we choose to decline providing a service or to stop a service before completion, if you have already made payment, a full refund will be given.

(viii) Under the Consumer Contract Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any service purchased on this website for a refund, within 14 days. This does not apply to any service which has already been provided. If you need to cancel a personal consultation after the period covered by the Consumer Contract Regulations, before the session is due, where payment has been made, a refund of the paid fee will be made by Aurora Healing Ltd (less an administration fee, which amounts to £30.00). To cancel under the terms of the Consumer Contract Regulations, you can email us (see our contact details at the foot of the page) within fourteen working days of your order.

(ix) If for any reason or due to unforeseen circumstances the service you have paid for has to be cancelled by Aurora Healing Ltd we will refund your payment in full, where you have already paid for the service. Aurora Healing Ltd and/or its directors and/or its representatives will not be liable for any other expenses.

6. Limitation of Liability

(a) Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability which may not otherwise be limited or excluded under applicable law.

(b) Subject to Section 6(a) above:

(i) Aurora Healing Ltd will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information on the site but makes no representation or warranty of any kind express or implied statutory or otherwise regarding the contents or availability of the site. Any indemnities, warranties, terms and conditions (whether express or implied) are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted under applicable law and subject to section 6(a) above.

(ii) Please note that information on these pages and in any other printed material we produce or as covered in any service provided is not a substitute for qualified medical advice and does not replace the advice of your doctor. Therefore, if you think you have or may have a medical condition of any kind then you should seek the appropriate support and only use our services with the informed consent and guidance of your doctor. Aurora Healing Ltd accepts no liability for your use of this website and for the information contained on this website. You acknowledge that as you have not received any personalised advice from Aurora Healing Ltd, Aurora Healing Ltd cannot be liable for the suitability of our services and / or the information provided as part of our services, to your particular circumstances and for any consequences thereof and you acknowledge that usage of any of our services is at your own risk. Furthermore, no guarantee can be given of any outcome as a result of your use of any of our services.

(iii) Information provided in our published books, printed course manuals, websites, audio programmes, videos and podcasts is for informational and / or entertainment purposes only. Information provided in our published books, printed manuals, websites, audio programmes, videos and podcasts does not constitute professional training, therapy, business, personal, spiritual, psychic, or career advice.

(iv) Please note: all products, seminars and services provided by, and any information published by Aurora Healing Ltd in any form (including books, CDs, downloads, manuals, videos and podcasts) covering psychic methods (as described above), healing, past life regression, shamanism, prayer and related spiritual issues is for informational and / or entertainment purposes only.

(v) Some of our products and services utilise hypnosis / altered states of consciousness. Every such product and / or service is presented by one or more trained, qualified and practising hypnotherapist(s). However, because altered states of awareness are involved we must obviously state that you should not use these products and/or services when driving, using machinery or doing anything which requires your attention.

(vi) Aurora Healing Ltd will not be liable, in contract, tort (including, without limitation, negligence), pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations) or otherwise out of or in connection with these terms and conditions for any:

(vi).1 economic losses (including without limitation loss of revenues, data, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or

(vi).2 loss of goodwill or reputation; or

(vi).3 special or indirect losses

(vi).4 other losses suffered or incurred by that party arising out of or in connection with the provisions of any matter under these terms and conditions.

(c) Notwithstanding the above, Aurora Healing Ltd’s aggregate liability (whether in contract, tort or otherwise) for loss or damage shall in any event be limited to £1.00 or a sum equal to the amount paid or payable by you for the product(s) and / or services in respect of one incident or series of incidents attributable to the same clause, whichever is the greater.

(d) This clause 6 does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer, nor does it affect your contract cancellation rights.

7. Malware / Virus disclaimer

(a) Reasonable steps have been taken to protect this Website by antivirus software but all visitors are advised to take all necessary steps to ensure that no malware / virus contamination occurs. Subject to clause 6(a) above, no responsibility can be accepted by Aurora Healing Ltd for any loss or damage sustained as a consequence of any malware / virus transmission.

(b) Subject to clause 6(a) above, Aurora Healing Ltd cannot accept any liability for any loss of data or damage to your computer system (or any other computer system with which you may interact through your computer system and related peripheral components) which occurs due to your use of this website, our products or as a result of downloading material from this site.

8. Website Linking

(a) Any links to other websites and any references to other authors’ books, products or services are provided for information only for smooth processing of your transaction. Nothing on this website shall be deemed to be an endorsement of any such website, book, product or service by Aurora Healing Ltd.

(b) Aurora Healing Ltd shall not in any event be liable for any content of any such other websites, nor can responsibility be accepted by Aurora Healing Ltd for any loss or damage sustained as a consequence of any malware / virus transmission, loss of data or damage to your computer system (or any other computer system with which you may interact through your computer system and related peripheral components) which occurs due to your use of such third party websites.

9. Breach of these Conditions by You

If you breach any of these terms and conditions you agree to hold blameless Aurora Healing Ltd, its directors, those who deliver training for and on behalf of Aurora Healing Ltd, its subsidiary businesses, products and / or services. You agree to indemnify Aurora Healing Ltd, its directors, those who deliver training for and on behalf of Aurora Healing Ltd, its subsidiary businesses, products and / or services for all fees, legal fees and costs which may arise out of your breach of these terms and conditions.

10. General

(a) This agreement is subject to English law and jurisdiction.

(b) These Terms and Conditions represent the complete agreement between you and Aurora Healing Ltd and regulate all of your use of any and all of Aurora Healing Ltd’s products and services and these terms and conditions replace any previously made between you and Aurora Healing Ltd.

(c) Please note that the headings used in these Terms and Conditions to indicate each section are used purely for ease and they do not have any contractual or legal effect of any kind.

(d) Aurora Healing Ltd reserves the right to transfer, assign, novate or sub-contract the benefit of the whole or part of any of its rights or obligations under these terms and conditions or any related contract to any third party. You may not assign your rights under these terms and conditions.

(e) If any portion of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity or enforceability of the other sections of these terms and conditions shall not be affected.

(f) No delay or failure by Aurora Healing Ltd to exercise any powers, rights or remedies under these terms and conditions will operate as a waiver of them nor will any single or partial exercise of any such powers, rights or remedies preclude any other or further exercise of them. Any waiver to be effective must be in writing and signed by an authorised representative of Aurora Healing Ltd.

(g) You agree that in so far as permitted by law, any claim or cause of action, which you may make which arises because of your use of Aurora Healing Ltd products or services will be made (in such a way that it is filed to the appropriate courts of jurisdiction as set out in these terms and conditions) within one year of any claim or cause of action arising.

PRIVACY NOTICE

This Notice describes how we collect, use, share, retain and safeguard personal data. It explains your individual rights that in summary include your right to know what data is held about you, how this data is processed and how you can place restrictions on the use of your data.

In order for us to provide and administer our services for you, we will collect and process personal data about you. We will also collect your personal data where you request information about our services, customer events, promotions and campaigns. You may provide us with personal data when completing application and events forms, when you contact us via the telephone, when writing to us directly or where we provide you with paper based forms for completion or we complete a form in conjunction with you. We will share personal data with authorised third parties, where we are required to do so by law and where we need to administer our events, for example, providing lists of delegate names to the hosts of our CPD events. Where we collect data directly from you, we are considered to be the controller of that data i.e. we are the data controller. A data ‘controller’ means the individual or organisation which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. A data ‘processor’ means the individual or organisation which processes personal data on behalf of the controller. As a provider of your membership services, we will process the following categories of data:

* Personal data such as an individual’s name, address, date of birth, gender, contact details and details of any historic complaints from the general public.

* Data relating to criminal convictions and offences such as details of driving offences or insurance fraud.

If you object to the collection, sharing and use of your personal data we will be unable to provide you with our services.

For the purposes of meeting the Data Protection Act 2018 territorial scope requirements, the United Kingdom is identified as the named territory where the processing of personal data takes place.

WHY DO WE NEED YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

We use your personal data to provide you with our services and to respond to any requests from you about services we provide and to process complaints.

We will use the special category and criminal conviction data we collect about you for the performance of our contract with you which is deemed to be necessary for reasons of protecting the public interest.

When requesting our services or joining one of our courses or workshops you should understand that you are forming a contract with us and we consider ourselves as having a legitimate business interest to provide you with further information about our products and services. You may request to be withdrawn from all such marketing activities at any time. In some situations we may request your consent to market our products and services to you, to share your data or to transfer your data outside the European Economic Area. Where we require consent, your rights and what you are consenting to will be clearly communicated to you. Where you provide consent, you can withdraw this at any time by contacting us using the form at www.multimodaltherapy.org. Please note: during the process of your communications with us, in some instances (as detailed below in our Privacy Policy) GoDaddy, Google, Microsoft, PayPal,  Skype, WhatsApp, WordPress, Yahoo and Zoom, etc, may be used to communicate, especially if one of these methods is chosen by you. You will need to check the Data policies of these organisations with regard to how and where your information is stored and what rights you have in regard to your data stored by them.

DATA RETENTION 

The electronic data you submit for courses, workshops and public demonstrations in the form of an online application form is stored on the server of our form provider, Wufoo (as described in our Privacy Policy below). Where you have submitted hardcopy data we will retain your hardcopy data for a period of 10 years after your completion of a course or workshop with us. Where you make a complaint or initiate legal action we will retain the data for 20 years. Where we receive a complaint about you we will retain the data for 20 years. Where you or law enforcement agencies inform us about any active investigation or potential criminal prosecution, we will comply with legal requirements when retaining this data. The retention of data is necessary where required for contractual, legal or regulatory purposes or for our legitimate business interests, for statistical analysis (profiling) and product development and marketing purposes. Sometimes we may need to retain your data for longer, for example if we are supporting you or defending ourselves in a legal dispute or as required by law or where evidence exists that a future complaint may occur.

If you object to the collection, sharing and use of your personal data we will be unable to provide you with our services, please therefore DO NOT APPLY for our services if you have objections. In exercising your Individual Rights, you should understand that in some situations we may be unable to fully meet your request, for example if you make a request for us to delete all your personal data, we may be required to retain some data for legal and contract issues, prevention of crime and for regulatory and other statutory purposes.

You should understand that when exercising your rights, a substantial public or vital interest may take precedence over any request you make. In addition, where these interests apply, we are required by law to grant access to this data for law enforcement, legal and/or health related matters.

You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). (b) We do not disclose any Data to any third parties, other than:

(i) PayPal in the event that you have chosen to pay by PayPal and/or credit/debit card online

When you complete an online application form a copy of your application form will be emailed to you and a copy will be emailed to Aurora Healing Ltd. A record of your application will be stored in our online account at GoDaddy. The email copy we receive will be stored in one of our online email accounts, which are provided by Google Gmail, Microsoft Outlook, or Yahoo Mail. When payment is made on-line, such payment is made directly to PayPal. We will not at any time hold any of your Confidential Financial Information.
