'Dearest Kerin, Thank you so much for changing my life. I don't think anyone has ever had such an impact on me before. I am so grateful for all of your help and support...' N.
Kerin Webb has been in clinical practice since 1997. He is qualified in a wide-range of healing modalities, including Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Counselling, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), Existential Well-Being Counselling, Indian Head Massage, Life Coaching, Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), Provocative Therapy, Reiki, Shamanic Hypnotherapy, Silva Method, Spiritual Healing and Thought Field Therapy (TFT). He tutored an accredited integrative diploma course in Counselling Skills, Ericksonian Hypnotherapy, CBT, NLP and Life Coaching for 14 years. His students and clients have included university professors, psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, community psychiatric nurses, counsellors, clinical hypnotherapists, solicitors, teachers and trainers, social workers, British peerage, TV and radio presenters, and many other people from all walks of life... including one NHS surgeon who experienced hypnotherapy with Kerin to enhance his surgery method. Above all, though, Kerin recognises that what counts most in the healing process is an authentic desire to help another person to improve their sense of wellbeing. The genuine desire to help takes precedence over methodology. There are many ways 'to Rome', so to speak, as long as one is moving in the right direction.
In his quest to learn from the best, alongside the accredited training Kerin completed, he attended seminars led by some of the world's top exponents of Indirect Hypnosis and NLP, including Dr Richard Bandler, Paul McKenna PhD and the world's leading life coach, Anthony Robbins. Kerin once took the opportunity to attend one of mentalist Derren Brown's shows, in order to observe his method, due his high regard for Derren's talent. On a number of occasions Kerin invited international experts to present training courses for him in the UK, including Carol Lankton M.A. (Carol was trained directly by Dr Milton Erickson, and as a result she has presented hypnosis many times at the Erickson Congress), Stephen Brooks (one of the world's leading Indirect Hypnosis trainers), Professor Frank Farrelly (the developer of Provocative Therapy, who was himself trained directly by Dr Carl Rogers, the developer of Person-Centred Counselling) and Matthew Manning (the most scientifically tested healer in the world, who co-hosted the TV series Beyond Belief with Sir David Frost and Uri Geller).
Kerin believes that, when coupled with the right attitude, the more widely trained a healer is, the more likely they are to be able to help the widest range of people. This approach to healing is called the Multi-Modal Therapy method. This principle is surprisingly similar to Bruce Lee's approach to martial arts. Bruce developed a method called Jeet Kune Do, which incorporated the best principles he observed within a wide range of combat techniques, to create what is regarded by many today to be the 'ultimate' martial art. Multi-Modal Therapists follow the same principle in the context of healing, studying widely, whilst avoiding limiting themselves to one 'form' (method) in order to present a broad range of good quality therapy.
'There are no qualifications for the kind of person I must be. What is wanted for the big therapy process, the big development process is a person who will be present… That—I think—is the first job we have. That is so necessary in a field that is becoming more and more "professional," which is to say useless and expensive.' Professor Eugene Gendlin.

Ever since I was a child I've been acutely aware of the spiritual presence that surrounds us all. This presence, has been a constant companion, influencing my life's path and opening my mind to the unseen realms that exist alongside our own.
My grandmother, though I have no conscious memory of her, left an indelible mark on my soul, despite her death when I was only a few weeks old. Her pride in my arrival as her first grandchild transcended the boundaries of life and death, as her spirit seemed to linger, watching over me. This ethereal connection with her, and the spirit world at large, has been a guiding force, allowing me to perceive the ever-present tapestry of spirits that interweave with our reality.
This awareness shaped my early interests, leading me to devour books on spiritualism and psychic research as a schoolboy. It was during this time that a pivotal encounter with my English teacher, Mr. Payne, further fuelled my passion for the mystical. His shared interest in the spiritualist realm led to an extraordinary experiment with Zener cards, where I demonstrated an uncanny ability to identify the symbols beyond the realms of mere chance. Mr. Payne's mentorship and the results of our tests laid a solid foundation for the development of my psychic abilities, which I would later pursue with earnest dedication.
Life, with its demands of education and work, momentarily pushed these experiences to the periphery. However, as I entered my early twenties, the spirit world reclaimed its central role in my life. My spirit guides, particularly a being named Aurora, began to intervene in profound and miraculous ways. Instances such as being inexplicably saved from a truck collision and surviving a mobile home being obliterated by a hurricane, with me inside, were not just lucky coincidences but acts of spiritual protection.
The most compelling evidence of the spirit world's influence came one day in my bedroom, when I heard a woman's voice in my mind. This voice, which identified itself as Aurora, challenged me to test the authenticity of our connection. In a moment of divine synchronicity, I randomly selected a book from my large collection and opened it randomly to a page that bore the name of my spirit guide, Aurora. This event was a turning point, solidifying my trust in the spiritual realm and encouraging me to deepen my psychic practice.
As my communication with Aurora and other spirit entities strengthened, I gained the confidence to offer psychic mediumship readings. My journey has since led to interviews on BBC Radio, Hot Radio, and Forest FM, and has captured the attention of print media, including the Daily Mail and the Daily Star. These platforms have shared the extraordinary story of how the spirit world orchestrated events to bring my wife, Asha, and me together, with the assistance of her late husband, John.
Today, I continue to work closely with Aurora and the spirit world, providing readings to individuals from across the globe. My services encompass a wide range of topics, from love and relationships to career advice, and from past lives to the exploration of one's innate talents. Each reading is a testament to the power of the unseen and a reminder that we are never alone on our journey through life.
The spiritual path is one of continuous discovery and wonder. It is a journey that teaches us to embrace the mystery and to recognise the signs and messages that come from the spirit world. For those who are open to the experience, the guidance of spirits like Aurora can lead to transformative insights and a deeper understanding of our place in the cosmos.

Kerin giving a public pychic/mediumship demonstration
Brazil is a country renowned for its vibrant culture, diverse population, and rich spiritual traditions. Among these, Spiritism, a philosophical doctrine established by Allan Kardec in the 19th century, holds a significant place within Brazilian society. Characterised by its belief in the immortality of the soul, reincarnation, and the moral and intellectual growth of the spirit, Spiritism has influenced various aspects of Brazilian life, including its healthcare system. Let's explore the integration of Spiritism into Brazilian healthcare and consider its implications for both practitioners and patients.
Historical Context and Influence of Spiritism
Spiritism made its way to Brazil in the late 19th century, gaining popularity particularly during the 20th century. The doctrine resonated with many Brazilians, bridging the gap between traditional spiritual beliefs and emerging scientific knowledge. Its emphasis on moral development and the interconnectedness of all beings found a unique footing in Brazil, especially amid a diverse landscape of religious practices, ranging from Afro-Brazilian religions to Christianity.
The integration of Spiritism into healthcare can be linked to a historical distrust of formal medicine in certain communities, where spiritual practices often provided a complementary or alternative approach to health and healing. The 20th century saw the establishment of Spiritist hospitals and clinics, where medical care was delivered alongside spiritual support, demonstrating a holistic approach to healthcare that is deeply rooted in the beliefs and values of Spiritism.
Holistic Healing: The Spiritist Approach
In Brazilian healthcare, the Spiritist perspective emphasises the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Patients are viewed as whole beings rather than merely individuals with physical ailments. This creates an environment where psychological and emotional well-being are treated with the same importance as physical health.
Spiritist centers often offer a range of therapeutic practices, including:
The inclusion of these elements not only nurtures patients' spiritual health but also cultivates a supportive community around them.
Collaboration with Conventional Medicine
One of the most significant aspects of Spiritism in Brazilian healthcare is its coexistence and collaboration with conventional medical practices. Many Spiritist institutions are equipped with medical professionals who provide care in conjunction with Spiritist principles. This dual approach has led to the establishment of hospitals and clinics where both Spiritist care and traditional medical treatment are available to patients.
For instance, the Hospital Espírita de São Paulo is one of the notable institutions that exemplify this integration. Here, patients receive comprehensive care that includes medical treatment, spiritual support, and psychological counselling. The institution’s model demonstrates how Spiritism can complement conventional healthcare, especially in managing chronic illnesses and terminal conditions where emotional and spiritual support is vitally important.
The integration of Spiritism into Brazilian healthcare reflects a unique approach to health and healing that acknowledges the multifaceted nature of the human experience. By blending spiritual, mental, and physical health, Brazil offers a model that emphasises holistic care while recognising the importance of collaboration between traditional and alternative practices. As the landscape of healthcare continues to evolve, the spiritist approach serves as a reminder of the enduring power of belief, community, and compassion in the journey toward well-being.

British readers may be pleased (and surprised?) to find that the Royal College of Psychiatrists has an extensive library of articles on spiritual and Spiritist-themed subjects, which suggests that the UK is not too far behind Brazil in its recognition of the benefits of incorporating an awareness of the spirit world into the practice of therapy.
